Yup yup… Gonna have a quick little interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Thursday morning on 102.7 KIIS FM (or whatever station syndicates it in your local area) to talk about Brit Brit’s Criminal video. The video I directed for The Black Keys “Howlin’ For You” has been nominated in the international category for Best Indie/Rock Music Video at the UK Music Video Awards this year… Right on… Very cool to get recognition overseas. More info HERE

Here’s my clip from Parenthood. I had a lot of fun shooting this sucker. It was a really different experience solely being in front of the camera after all these years of being the one behind it. The cast and crew were all very rad and it was super cool sharing my acting debut with Craig T Nelson (Coach!)… really awesome guy. And they even let me sneak in my own line at the end… heck yeah. Later on in the episode Craig’s character talks smack on my mohawk and my piercings. Ha… so rad. Thanks Parenthood! Damn good times!
The Ke$ha video I directed for BLOW starring James Van Der Beek being super cool and badass in it is gonna be airing on VH1’s Pop Up Video on Wednesday at Noon PST. I grew up watching and loving this show. So stoked to have a video featured in it… Heck yeah.
That’s right. Somehow the fine folks over at the show Parenthood decided they wanted me to try out my acting chops and be on their show. While the role wasn’t a huge stretch ( I play a director for a commercial that Craig T. Nelson’s character gets cast in ) it definitely was an odd and fun experience acting on the show… and I had to do some improving, too, so it wasn’t a cake walk… whatever that means. What the heck is a “cake walk” anyway? I doubt walking on a bunch of cakes or walking with shoes made out of cakes would be easy. Someone get back to me on that one. Nonetheless… tune in tonight to NBC 10pm PST to check out Parenthood and my glorious TV “acting” debut.
