Google introduced a brand new phone today and it’s looking pretty awesome.  Is it an iPhone killer?  Doubt it.  I’m not sure anything can really become an iPhone killer at this point becuase Apple has a very supportive community.  It’s like saying a brand new super cool laptop is going to be a Macbook killer.  Won’t happen.  This retarded exclusivity to AT&T just needs to come to a halt and it’ll be a healthy competition.

The Nexus One is pretty fucking cool and it’s one more step in Google’s world domination… and like the iPhone it is changing the ball game a little bit because it is the first cell phone in the US able to to be purchased directly from the maker without being tied to a particular service provider.  You’re also going to pay more than double the cost for that, so I dont really see the point (I guess if you desperately love jumping back n forth between TMobile and AT&T).

It’s available for TMobile right now, Verizon in the spring.  It can work on AT&T but not their 3G network apparently.  And once again, Sprint gets ignored like a whore with one too many STDs (that would be 7, in case you were wondering).  More info on it HERE
