I’m pretty sure every time I’ve gone back to New York I’ve had an encounter with a genuinely nice person that stuck out in my mind. Even though they have this image of being loud-mouth, rude people, I think New Yorkers are actually some of the nicest people around… generally way nicer than LA folks.
I think a lot of it may have to do with the fact that they are always walking the city and interacting with each other where as in LA, we’re generally in our cars a lot more and more shut off to others. Or not… I dunno… If it wasn’t for New York we wouldn’t have the Ninja Turtles or the Ninja Rap, so that makes New York numero uno in my book… Here’s my story…
Yesterday, while at the studio with TBS we walked a few blocks to get a sandwich at a local deli. We went back to the studio to eat and I checked my email and there was a message from Abby G letting me know that she had found my credit card on the street and she gave me the phone number and address for her office and would leave it at the front desk for me.
My business credit card has my company name on it, so she found the card… googled my company name… went to the website… clicked on the contact page… and then told messaged me. And she had impeccable timing because I was getting ready to hail a cab to go to the airport to fly back home.
So not only is it awesome that my credit card happened to be discovered by a good, honest person… but she’s also a savvy one, at that, for being all internet smart and getting in touch with me immediately.
High five to Abby G… I wish there were more people like her out there. Have you ever had something really nice/cool like that happen to you? Or have you ever done anything like that for someone else? Maybe you should do something nice for someone today.
If nothing else, steal something from someone and then return it to them and say you found it on the ground or what not. How would they know? Who knows, maybe Abby G did that to me… Either way she put a smile on my face and we 69′d before I flew back home, so it was a good day.

i found a wallet at warped like 2 years ago. my sister and i went through it and found a phone number. we called and asked for the kid (obviously he wasn't there, but his dad did answer) and we let him know that we had found his wallet and stuff. so we sent it back. of course, after keeping the cash... later that day, he was the one who tipped the waitress at olive garden
no worries man. he was poor as fuck, he had like 3 bucks or something. i don't remember. i think the same shit we paid for it to get shipped was a little under of what he actually had. i really don't remember.
and then the next time i found something that belonged to someone else, because of my stupid ass friend... i got suspended from school. alsjslcm long story, whatever.

I actually lost my wallet on one of my drunken outrage nights in the street..and someone mailed it back to be and so I sent them a gift..it was a picture of me posing naked with a cowboy hat on.

aaaw, how nice of abby g. maybe you should send her a gift since you guys "69ed", i'm sure she wasn't 100% satisfied.
so did you give her a reward? possibly a free mustache ride? I did something similar once. Drive up ATM the person in front of me took off without taking their card. I took it out and drove after them... they thought i was crazy until i showed them that i had their card. Good times.
I definately would have done that... 69 or not... Kudos to Abby, she absolutely went above and beyond. Seriously, this is yet another reason why the internet is so great...hundreds of people would go without sex every day without it...even Abby.
