Hi there webbage peoples. So I’m looking for some interns for my video production company MARRS ENTERTAINMENT and subsequently this website and webshow MARRS ATTACKS. Find out more after the jump
Ok, so first off, interning is not the greatest thing ever cuz you’re working and not getting paid. I did it. A lot of my friends did it. A bunch of my friends are still doing it. It’s to get experience, build a resume and either eventually get paid to work by me or by a future employer. And although I’m not some huge important guy and my company is miniscule in comparison to many, there’s lots of cool stuff to work on, and I would think it would be one of the more fun internships around.
My company is a full-fledged production company, fyi, incorporated and everything. So for anyone getting class credit, it’s totally legit. I know, amongst all the poop and penis jokes it’s easy to forget that I’m actually not just some retard sitting at home (I’m a retard sitting at home who runs his own business!).
What I’m looking for:
I’m looking for people who are available 2-4 days a week, 4-6 hours a day. You can get school credit it for this, but it’s not a must whatsoever.
I’d like to get 2 interns in the Los Angeles area. And the 3rd can be located anywhere. Obviously if you are not local you will strictly be doing web promotion, advertising, research & development and things of that sort. Marrs Attacks the show is relaunching at the end of this month (with a sponsored-website tba very soon) and you’ll be assisting with a full-fledged professional webshow, so if you’re interested in music and marketing and that kind of jazz, then that would be good stuff for.
If you’re local, you’ll be heavily working with the website and show: Assisting with finding content, publicity/advertising, and with the production aspect of the show. Basic camera and editing skills is a plus, but not a must.
In addition to the site and show, the local interns will assist with some of my work for my production company so that they can build a solid resume and we will a coordinate a weekly schedule to get training to advance in editing and camera work.
After your initial internship time is up, there is the possibility of getting hired to work. Like all internships there is no guarantee, but at least for sure you’ll be walking with a good resume that will help you land other gigs.
Please send all inquiries to chris (a t) marrsattacks (d o t) com with INTERNSHIP in the subject line. Thanks!
