MTV Is Gonna Start Playing Music Videos Again… At 3am

Well at least it’s a step in the right direction… MTV has announced that from 3am-9am Monday thru Thursday it is going to start airing music videos, music news, interviews, and performances. If it does well, they’ll expand.

It’s about fucking time they started bring Music back to their Music Television station. The Hills is one thing (at least it’s a genuine show with characters n what not), but I am so fucking tired of turning on that channel to see a repeat of Parental Control. That show is so mundane and retarded.

There’s no way anyone actually plans out their TV viewing schedule to watch that piece of shit show. The same people who don’t turn the channel when PC is on will gladly not turn the channel when there’s videos on… no matter how dumb the video is.

If you go to the most viewed of all time for YouTube you’ll notice that a good chunk of them are music videos (Did Avril Lavigne suck off the CEO of YouTube or what)… Why? Because we like watching music videos. We always have.

Even in a world where the internet has made it way more accessible for our society of I-Need-It-Now’s to watch videos instantly, I think music videos on TV can still succeed. There’s just something more appealing to watching it on TV, if for nothing more than watching it on a big screen. Ok then…

    i personally like true life, ha. especially the ones about drugs, but anyways. hah.

    they need to wake the fuck up and realize that shows like made and date my mom are crap.

    SERIOUSLY! ABOUT FUCKIN' TIME! The hours suck still. Their were too many 15 min of fame/flash in the pan shows on MTV like room raiders, cribs, pimp my car, ex factor, next...ugh. Fav. video...(not gonna be current 'cause as far as I know there aren't any current videos being made unless they're on FUSE)...I'm gonna go with the one stuck in my head right now...Blind Melon-No Rain.
